SLG Design has released a number of Apple Watch bands for the 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch models, and we’ve got our hands on the D6 Italian Minerva Box Leather Strap for Apple Watch ($59). We received the blue edition of the band, which looks a bit more on the green side of teal to our eyes.
SLG Design says the strap is genuine Italian leather, which certainly makes it affordable for an Apple Watch band that “has been made by highly trained master craftsmen.” The band fits wrists with a circumference from 145 to 195 mm.
We’ve worn the D6 strap for a few days now, and so far, so good. It’s a simple, attractive band.
The band only has five separate holes for sizing, so that could be an issue for some. SLG Design also offers higher-quality Buttero leather bands for $79.
