Kanex, Macally, Oaxis + Standzout

On day two of CES 2015, we’ve seen an upcoming Bluetooth keyboard from Kanex, a media storage solution from Macally, a new e ink case for iPhone 6 from Oaxis, and last but not least, an Apple Watch accessory from Standzout — one of very few such accessories we’ve seen here at the show. Today we’ll also be stepping outside the iProducts Marketplace to see what else we can find on the show floor.

Kanex unveiled its newest Bluetooth keyboard, MultiSync Bluetooth Keyboard+ ($100).

Pegged for a Q3 2015 release, the keyboard will enable users to switch between four devices — a Mac and three iOS devices, for instance — via Bluetooth 3.0.

Macally revealed its newest media storage system, WIFISD2 ($80). Containing a built-in 2600 mAh battery, the accessory allows users to backup and stream data via Wi-Fi, to and from SD cards, flash drives, and drives accessed through USB. It’s now Dropbox-compatible and the stored data can be accessed through a free iOS app.

It should be released in the first quarter of this year.

Oaxis showed off a mockup of its upcoming inkCase ($80) for iPhone 6. The case has an e ink screen on the back for reading selected material transmitted via Bluetooth; inkCase already exists for iPhone 5, and the newest version is expected to be released in March or April.

Standzout was showing one of the few Apple Watch accessories we’ve seen at CES thus far. Bandstand ($70) is an aluminum charging dock for Apple Watch — Apple’s charging cable can be run through the dock to the watch, which is held up for display.
