Apple finally shows off the much-anticipated iOS 13 at the 2019 WWDC, and there’s plenty of new additions and improvements to talk about.
Better Performance. App launch are twice as fast and Face ID unlocks 30% faster.
Dark Mode. A system-wide dark mode with first-party apps and dock support.
Swiping Keyboard. Called Quick Path keyboard, it’s similar with swipe keyboard functions to that of Gboard, Swype and SwiftKey.
Reminders. An overhaul of the app with filter option additions and a new look.
Apple Maps. A redo of the map from the ground up, including a new mode similar to the Google Street View.
Privacy. Location apps are now limited to getting your location only once. Users can now log in Face ID without adding other personal information.
Video and Photo Editing. iOS users will now be able to edit their videos directly on the device.
Find My. Find My iPhone and Find My Friends will be merged into one app.
The iOS 13 will be made available from the iPhone 6S to the newest iPhone models. Developers can preview the iOS 13 beginning June 3rd from the Apple dev portal while iOS users can expect the beta software to be available next month.
