In this article, we at iLounge will guide you on how you can shut down your iPhone XR device.
Turning the iPhone XR off can be a little tricky, which is why we thought to write a guide. Unlike the previous iPhone models where you press only the power button, the iPhone XR needs additional buttons to be pressed.
Follow the steps below to shut down your iPhone XR.
- Place your finger on the volume up button.
On your iPhone XR, you should see two volume buttons on the left side of the device. Place your finger on the top volume button that allows you to increase volume.
- Place your finger on the power button.
On the right side of the device, you should see a single button. Place your finger on that button.
- Press both of the buttons at together.
Press the volume up and power button at the same time.
- Slide to power off.
An option will appear on your screen saying “Slide to power off”. Simply slide along the option and your device should shut down.
