As previously announced on Apple’s Spanish site, the HomePod has launched today in both Mexico and Spain, likely related to Apple expanding support for Siri in the Spanish language on the device.
In addition, Italian blog iSpazio (via 9to5Mac) has cited several Apple employees as confirming that the company is already testing support internally for an Italian release, and suggests that Apple may be planning to announce the feature at next week’s special event, although a release date remains unclear.
While an announcement next week is certainly possible, it seems like it might not be entirely on topic for an event that’s expected to be focused on the iPad Pro and Mac, unless of course Apple has something more about the HomePod up its sleeve as well.
