Mark Gurman of Bloomberg said that Apple is preparing for the launch of the Apple Watch Ultra 3.
The next Apple Watch Ultra is said to have 5G and satellite connectivity. The new features are significant- satellite connectivity will allow an Ultra user to send SMS even without a cellular or wi-fi signal. Gurman said this will work even when the user doesn’t have an iPhone. Furthermore, the 5G component will be unique and is considered an upgrade compared to LTE from the previous models.
Other new upgrades might include a wide-angle OLED screen with a higher refresh rate and a brighter viewing angle. It’s worth noting that the features are already on the Apple Watch Series 10. Gurman added that blood pressure monitoring might be arriving for the Ultra 3, although Apple has been having issues with the feature. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to debut in several months.
